Heritage Impact Statement
A Heritage Impact Statement is a document that details the effects of a proposed adaptation in either use or layout of an asset. They set out the changes to significance of the asset and the area the asset is set in.
Conservation Management Plans
Knowing exactly what elements of an asset can be managed for change and which elements of the significance must be maintained can be daunting. Working out the best practical approach requires careful consideration and co-operative collaboration.
Condition Surveys and Damp Surveys
Heritage based assessments and condition surveys cover the structures overall health and determines defect or lack of it. A full condition survey which looks at causes of problems such as material failure, damp and mould issues, cracks and movement is essential to deliver the correct and necessary repair programme. Further reports from structural engineers and or chartered surveyors would be necessary for major cracks and movement which would go to create the whole assessment.
